DetailsAbout 4 p.m., a security guard at a Home Depot store saw Travon Chadwell shoplifting. During an ensuing struggle, Chadwell shot the security guard, who was in grave condition. When Chadwell fled, officers pursued, and one officer was shot. Following that shooting, other officers continued to chase Chadwell. During a shootout with police, police shot and killed Chadwell.
