DetailsPolice responded to reports of a domestic disturbance between Hacker and his girlfriend. Hacker's girlfriend told police he was firing gunshots in her direction. Upon arrival, police established a perimeter around the residence. Police claim Hacker shot at police from inside the residence, striking police vehicles. A SWAT team arrived, and Hacker allegedly continued to fire at police from in the home. Eventually, police deployed tear gas to get Hacker out of the home. Hacker exited the home, reportedly holding a firearm, and a member of the SWAT team shot and killed him.
