Details

At 7:41 p.m., a man called the sheriff's office from a gas station to report a hostage situation at his house nearby. When deputies arrived at the store, the caller told them Baker was armed and holding his girlfriend hostage. Deputies went to Spencer's home, where Baker opened fire on them, and deputies shot and killed him.
