DetailsA gunman reportedly shot and killed a police officer in a Denver suburb. Hurley was on the scene, and reportedly moved towards the shooter, firing his personal handgun at the individual. After the shooter was injured, Hurley picked up the rifle the shooter had been firing. Police then arrived on scene, and an officer shot and killed Hurley.
